The FastPrep-24® 5G instrument is a versatile sample homogenization system designed to provide efficient agitation and consistent performance for the complete lysis of virtually all types of biological samples, as well as for the grinding of inorganic samples.
Known for its reliable and reproducible performance, the FastPrep-24® 5G supports the efficient isolation of high-quality DNA, RNA, and proteins without the need for chemicals or enzymes that may inhibit downstream processes.
Samples and buffers are simply added to tubes containing specialized Lysing Matrix particles. Users select the appropriate sample type from the menu of recommended programs, press “Run,” and achieve complete lysis in 40 seconds or less. The FastPrep-24® 5G also allows users to program and store up to 12 custom protocols.
