Electronic Laboratory Notebook

Description

We have enhanced our solution with an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN), usable either as a standalone system or fully integrated with the LIMS. It is designed to organize, structure, and secure scientific work from the earliest stages of your projects. The ELN allows teams to record hypotheses, protocols, test parameters, field observations, intermediate results, and decisions within a secure, time-stamped, and version-controlled environment. Every modification is tracked, every step documented, ensuring full scientific continuity throughout the project lifecycle. Projects can be structured into sections and sub-sections, with the ability to assign a responsible person to each segment. You clearly see who is leading each phase, the current progress status, and the remaining actions. This granular structuring improves coordination, eliminates ambiguity, and enhances project visibility—even in multisite or multidisciplinary contexts. Used independently, the ELN serves as a true research repository: centralizing knowledge, tracking iterations, and preserving experimental history. When connected to the LIMS, it establishes a seamless link between scientific reasoning and operational execution. Notes and protocols are directly associated with samples, transformation methods, inventory, and analytical results. Key Benefits: Enhanced data security with granular access control Complete action history (audit trail, time-stamping, electronic signatures, etc.) Centralization and capitalization of scientific knowledge Secure sharing and collaboration across teams and sites Standardization of protocols and improved reproducibility
